Getting Started

Signing In

  1. Visit OnePageOS.com and click "Sign In" in the top right corner
  2. Sign in with your Google account to access calendar integration
  3. You'll be directed to your dashboard

Interface Overview

OnePageOS features a clean, simple interface with:

  • Command Bar: Central input field at the top of each page
  • Dashboard: Shows calendar, tasks, and notes summaries
  • Section Navigation: Access specific functions via the sidebar
  • Command History: Reuse past commands for frequent tasks

Using Natural Language Commands

The heart of OnePageOS is the command bar. Simply type what you want to do in plain English.

Command Examples

Calendar Commands

  • "Meeting with John tomorrow at 3pm"
  • "Doctor appointment on Friday at 10am"
  • "Lunch with team next Tuesday at noon"
  • "Call with client on March 15th at 2pm"

Task Commands

  • "Add task: finish quarterly report by Friday"
  • "Task: buy groceries today"
  • "High priority task: submit project proposal by next Monday"
  • "Remind me to call mom tomorrow"

Note Commands

  • "Note: The client prefers blue color scheme"
  • "Save note about project requirements"
  • "Note for project Alpha: Need to update timeline"
  • "Take note: Ideas for new marketing campaign"

Email Commands (Coming Soon)

  • "Email to john@example.com about meeting tomorrow"
  • "Send email to team@company.com: Project update"

Command Structure

While OnePageOS understands natural language, these patterns usually work best:

  • Calendar: [Event type] with [person] on/at [time]
  • Tasks: Task: [description] by [deadline]
  • Notes: Note: [content] for [project/category]

Calendar Features

Creating Events

  1. Type your event details in the command bar
  2. Review the confirmation screen with parsed details
  3. Confirm to add to your Google Calendar

Viewing Your Calendar

  • Month View: Default view showing the entire month
  • Week View: Detailed view of the current week
  • List View: Chronological list of upcoming events

Navigation

  • Use the arrows to move between months
  • Click on an event for more details
  • Filter options available for different calendars

Task Management

Creating Tasks

  1. Type task details in the command bar
  2. Set priority level (default is medium)
  3. Add due dates when needed

Managing Tasks

  • Click checkboxes to mark tasks as complete
  • Filter by status: All, Complete, Incomplete
  • Sort by priority, due date, or title
  • Edit or delete tasks with the action buttons

Note Taking

Creating Notes

  1. Type note content in the command bar
  2. Optionally specify a category or project
  3. Notes are saved instantly

Organizing Notes

  • Search through notes with the search bar
  • Filter by category
  • Edit note content, category, or project labels
  • Delete notes you no longer need

Dashboard Overview

The dashboard gives you a comprehensive overview of your digital life:

  • Upcoming Events: Next few calendar items
  • Priority Tasks: Your most important tasks
  • Recent Notes: Latest notes you've taken

This is your command center - the perfect place to start your day.

Tips & Tricks

Command Bar Efficiency

  • Use Tab to accept suggestions
  • Press Up Arrow to cycle through command history
  • The command bar adapts to your section (Calendar, Tasks, Notes)
  • Command suggestions improve as you use the system more

Context Awareness

OnePageOS is context-aware:

  • Calendar commands work best in the Calendar section
  • Task commands work best in the Tasks section
  • Note commands work best in the Notes section

However, you can use any command type from any section if needed.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Command not recognized correctly

  • Try being more specific with your wording
  • Include clear time references for calendar events
  • Add "task:" or "note:" prefixes if command is ambiguous

Calendar events not syncing

  • Ensure you're signed in with your Google account
  • Check your internet connection
  • Verify calendar permissions in your Google account

Command suggestions not appearing

  • Type a few more characters
  • Try a different phrasing
  • Check that you're using common terms like "meeting," "task," etc.
